Job names in English by trade
If you work in Spanish and your client reads English, half the work of writing an estimate is finding the right words. These are the jobs of seven trades with their name in both languages, plus what a finished estimate looks like.
Why the wording matters
- "Cambio de calentador de agua" is a water heater replacement, not a "water heater change". A line your client does not recognise is a line they will question, and questions delay payment.
- Write the line the way the client would describe the job to a neighbour: what you will do and on what. Keep quantities and units separate from the description.

- Find your trade below. The left column is what you say in Spanish, the right column is what the client reads in English. Prices are not here on purpose: yours are yours.
- If a job is missing, write it once with both names and reuse it from then on.

Questions
Do I have to translate every line myself?
Only the jobs that are not on this list. In Kobrado the typical jobs of each trade come preloaded with both names, and every job you add has a field for its Spanish and its English name, so you write it once.
Can I send the same estimate in both languages?
Yes. Generate the PDF once in each language. The job names, the labels and the payment block are translated; your business name and your notes go as you wrote them.
Should I write the units in English too?
Yes, and use the unit the client knows: square foot, yard, sheet, room, hour. A quantity with no unit invites an argument about what was included.
